Dr. Raj moved to California in 1998 after graduating from Punjab Agricultural University. He has had a love for and fascination with animals since his childhood, which fueled his desire to work in the veterinary field.
He attended one year internship in Alabama and had opportunities to work closely with veterinarians specializing in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and ophthalmology. Dr. Raj bought the Central Valley Veterinary Hospital in Manteca, which has been serving the local community for over 25 years. Before that, he worked at different hospitals in the Bay Area. He is an expert in small animal surgery and medicine.
Dr. Raj has a strong interest in preventive medicine, which is becoming of greater use as the prices rise in both the human and animal medical fields. Dr. Raj is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, North San Joaquin Veterinary Medical Association and VIN (Veterinary Info Network), where he discusses his cases with Board Certified Specialists). Dr. Raj owns two pets, Cat named Rani, American Bull Dog named Cholo.
A graduate from Punjab Agricultural University in India, Dr. Singh has been practicing veterinary medicine for 16 years. Drl Singh is an avid sports fan, loves the A’s, Raiders and is passionate about the sport of Cricket. He loves to travel, spend time with his daughter and his dog Elvy, a beautiful Coton de Tulear.
Dr Dhawan attended Punjab Agricultural University in India from 2000-2005 and received his Masters in Biology from Kent State University in 2012. Dr Dhawan is in his 9th year as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and believes that preventive medicine is the key to a healthy and happy pet. When Dr Dhawan is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and young two children. Currently they have no family pets but soon hope to adopt a french bulldog.

Alex has been with us for over 5 years and started as a receptionist while completing her Vet Tech Schooling at Carrington College. Alex loves working with dogs and cats, but find working with exotics and farm animals so fascinating. C-Sections are her favorite surgery to participate in, as well as orthopedic surgeries. She has two kids and two fur babies, a yorkie poodle mix and a 4 year old Pit Mastiff.
